too scared to drive to the pool so 45mins snow run for me too, lot slower and higher HR as the slippy bits were scary and the deep bits hard work! Still lovely to be out there.
More snow forecast for tomorrow so looks like just 1 swim this week - will do an elongated paper run tomorrow or turbo instead
2hr turbo done and just about to go for a run.
Pixie, what is an elongated paper run?
When you really, really need the toilet but your still three miles from your house??
convincing myself that this week can be a run specific week.......I did extra on the bike last week so not too worried if I can't do much on the turbo tomorrow.son is on it at the moment.trying out the new saddle...I have put a planet x one on it as thats the one i have on my road bike
I think I've done too much bike this week and/or need to toughen up. Sudocrem is my friend just now
my Paper Shop is less that 1/2m away but I made it to just under 3m by taking the long route there i.e. upto and through the next villiage then back! I then get my paper (and visit the butcher - oxtail stew now cooking ) then walk home as a cool down
first hour on the turbo done
First Seren? How many more are you doing?
thats it.2nd hour done and I'm quitting............can't take any more
slipped 3 times walking to paper shop this morning. It's now ice out there.
Plus for the last 30mins it's been snowing.
Snow on ice - awesome
Should be doing a swim today but that so isn't going to happen. Cross trained moving snow instead
we haven't had any more snow since friday...........but it looks no different to friday out.....
normally would really enjoy a rest day on a sunday...........but raring to go out in the snow for a run as soon as eldest leaves the house
I'm now looking at those yaktraks things - but by the time I get them the snow would have gone!
got some from asdas a couple of years ago...........can't remeber where i put them.....be good for when the snow turns to ice
