I've got some VERY minor scuffs/scratches on the screen of my Edge 705 , I thought it was plastic but someone on the garmin forum reckons it's glass ?? Has anybody got a tried and tested way of buffing the screen up ? And what to use ??

Or this?

DIY?

And if you remove the scratches, use a screen protector from then on

Cheers schmunk's I've already read them but they don't really give a solution , the first one is for plastic and the second mentions wet'n'dry paper , I was more after someone who has actually done it really rather than experimenting

Yeah, I couldn't understand the nail buffer one, but have you looked at the DIY link.  Or would a screen protector camouflage it.

I have never scratched mine (came close t'other week) so can't give any experienced help, I'm afraid

Had a look at the DIY one but 2 of the 3 reviews said shite !! I may nip to my opticians tomorrow and see if he can buff them out as I imagine he must get loads of scratched glasses to repair ?

i have seen mobile phone places that offer to take scratches out of iphone/gorilla glass - might be worth a try
