I am preparing for my first tri with pool swim and would like wear tri shorts and top but I am having difficulty finding shorts long enough! Is there much difference if I buy men's shorts (I am a female bout 5ft 7 medium build)

I want long tri short too but I'm a 6 footer, and just to the knee.

I have men's tri shorts....the padding is suitable for girls too  and the legs are decently long (lower thigh) - I'm 5ft 6.  Hate the mini-legs of girls' shorts...there's only so much of me the world can tolerate viewing

The new Pirate kit tri shorts are quite a bit longer than the old LG ones.

the last lot of LG ones were fairly long as well      .mid thigh.            enough to cover all your bits definitely

I've some 2Xu ones with quite long legs. They are the endurance ones

As SLAW says - the 2XU ones are a good length - and on sale at TFN Bath - very helpful people.
