1600meters in 34:10 ........  I was very happy with that as I did a bir breaststroke chatting to a friend

Good going !! .. i'd be well happy to get that time,  doing FC , and without chatting  ... i think im probably still closer to 40mins.. need to up my game

That was meant to say "I was happy as I did a little bit of Breaststroke chatting to a friend" the rest was done FC

I really sruggle to keep going in a straight line tho  

also what is the best way to dry my wetsuit?

ah ok... thats not quite so humiliating for me then

I think there are dark forces in that lake that pull you towards the middle .. no matter how many times i sight i still seem to end up left of the buoy and having to dog leg to get around them.  I may have to swim the other way around next time to test this theory.

Havent found a good way to dry the wetsuit yet .. i think probably because someone turned the sun off in the UK.

If i get away from work in time tomorrow i might go and do the splash and dash at leybourne 1500m and 5k  ..  Plan b is for a holborouigh swim if i am gonna miss the 7 oclock start at leybourne

16 degrees in the lake @ 10am today

yep .. was 16 last night as well ... lovely .. apart from that bit above the van that was still chuffing cold .

 it still freaks me out going over the small boat 

where is the van?

ah perhaps it is  the boat ?   Swimming anticlockwise then between buoys 4 and 1 .. about halfway between buoy 4 and the aluminium boat thats normally moored there . Had assumed it was the transit as there is one of those sunk in there as well ,   .. will have to stop and take a propper look next time.

There is a snooker table over towards buoy 3 apparently ...random.

No idea where you guys are swimming but it sounds like some council estate canal...give me Heron lake anyday!!

its all stuff thats been deliberatelty scuttled to give the divers something to amuse themselves down there. There is also a trapeze ??

good swimming in the lake today 1500 meters in 29:02 .......... I have another 1 mile swim on Sunday at a lake in Dartford 

still 18 @ 10am
