I want to become a Pirate!

Hello.

After reading Andy Holgate books I have been inspired to do Iron Man and am in Bolton 2014. Have done marathons before but am relatively new to triathlon. Really looking forward to the challenge.

Due to work commitments and family I struggle with joining a club as it is hard for me to commit to being somewhere at a set time! I need more flexibility and thought that becoming a Pirate might help me get advice and find like minded people and maybe even some in South Manchester.

How do I become a member? i have a good sense of humour (I promise- look at the football team I support!)

cheers.

Sounds like I need to buy a lot of drinks..... It's my proficiency in drinking that will be my biggest obstacle when approaching this Ironman

You have to book in with our bespoke measuring service and then we can advise you on size

There are one (maybe two) orders per year so keep a look out for the threads or beg/borrow/steal one if you have an event prior to the shipment date

Has anyone said, run a bit, swim a bit, cycles a lot?

Mines a pint of bitter and twisted or dark island. And yes, they are both proper beers...although I could be hilarious and ask for a pint of joggers tipple..d'ya see what they did there?

I believe there were some tri-suits about.
