Just got the email with the link for the new IM age group ranking tool . Seems i was ranked 4183rd in Europe for 40-44 , 892nd in UK      ... imagine that ... the four thousand one hundred and eighty third best 40-44 years old that took part in a EU IM in 2011 (or counting from the other direction.... about the third worst ) .

so clearly i am a serious contender for worst ranking ... but who on here has the best ??? .. come on people   fess up ..

I think i was 27 in country....

Enter more than 1 race and you shoot up the rankings.

Try being an old woman who has done more than one event - I'm 23rd overall, and 3rd in country!!

I think about 22 others have done 2 events....

I think it just illustrates how meaningless it all is!
The IM branded events aren't a big enough proportion of the whole scene for these rankings to be representative.

3294 overall, 606 country.

But then again, I'm in a VERY competitive age group!

I am however, first for my surname!
