I just thought it would be nice to start a thread to keep the home fires burning. Somewhere where forumites/friends/family can follow the Pirates progress.

Nice one Barley. Shame there's no Ironmandead this year, I've really enjoyed watching on a tiny pixellated screen in the middle of the night to see everyone home. I'll be here for this one too.

What (UK) time does it kick off at, and what's the cut off?

8am uk time?  i doubt it.  doesn't it start 7am zurich time, 6am UK time?  then finish 11pm zurich 10pm uk time?

have I got the hour difference the wrong way round

that sounds better as my kids might be able to stay up to 10:00 on a school night
