The Pool last night was packed with guys from Royal Navy Southern Diving Unit One taking part in an indoor Ironman, pool swim, turbo trainers for the bike then  4 mile laps around the dockyard for the run, in aid of  Breast Cancer, 20 of the guys were in a relay and 10 were going for the full distance apparently not much specific traning had taken place as they wer not to aware of the distance involved! its was the idea of their Warrant Officer who is well into tri, they were all putting in a great effort and had a 24 hour cutoff,   I was well impressed so thought I would give them a big up here well done RN Southern Diving Unit One if you would like to support their efforts for breast cancer I am sure they would be pleased to hear from you on 01752 55 5498

PS nothing to do with this unit although I am ex RN, just well impressed by their efforts

Not to sure, some RN guys came in this office rattling the tin at 9 this morning and said there were people still going! 158 Lenghts 112miles on a turbo and then 4 mile laps I am in awe I would have died of boredom 80 lenghts into the swim
