Have decided I'm going back to Roth next July to tackle the IM distance there again. I have some unfinished business there!

you would be welcome, Andy - but remember this event fills up very fast and accommodation even faster. Usually there's not a room to be had within miles very early in the year!

Foggyone - Mr. IW is muttering about doing the relay event, he would like to do the swim again, if he can find 2 other team members. He did ask me if I would run the marathon....hmmmm. Might stoop to that if he really wants to do it and can find a biker for the 180km. Why, are you interested?

IW- extremely interested, I really want to do an ironman length event next year, but would like to do all disciplines myself, not as part of relay.

see, that's my problem too, I want to do all the race. As I know the course now, I think I'll be better prepared.

Besides which, John said I can't handle it any more. Nothing's guaranteed to make me more determined than someone telling me I can't do something!

Last year I took 17 mins off my swim.

same time. It's been fixed at the beginning of July for over 20 years now, can't see them changing it.
