You need to predetermine your CSS to make sure that you are on the right rest intervals for your speed
(as far as I can make out anyway)

It always confuses me too. I thought off 3:30 meant you do them every 3:30 and whatever is left is your RI?

In that case its off 3.50

The key is the consistency of the swim (3.28 fastest on the last one, 3.35 slowest in the middle somewhere) !!

However, I know what I am meant to bedoing/done ...

Still not right got root cacal booked in and still on antibiotics foe tooth and waiting on test results for "tum" issues getting some training in though great lumpy sea swim out in some big waves last night had to cancel my pre wotk run this morning though tum to wobbly Doc agrees may have picked up something dodgy OW swimming

Max - sounds awful.  They were going to do root canal on me a year ago but I didn't like the sound of it so i told them to just pull it out...a lot cheaper too!

Did you get the email about the LW?

Slim i had already had root canal and crown done on it years ago and its always niggled on and off my new dentist has found that the clown that did it missed one of the nerves which explains why it was niggling and has now gone ballistic gggrrrrr! thought about having it pulled but at my age i need to keep what teeth i havent knocked out over the years
Got the woody message still camping me and Flowerpower are coming up from Cornwall looks like bruv has found a decent excuse to avoid it

Perspective of a duff swimmer on those intervals.... you need to invest in getting your pace and rest intervals right rather than rely on somebody else's. Otherwise it's just a world of misery.

6-mile lunchtime trot here today. Very pleasant. Big ride tomorrow across to Abersoch in north wales... 100 miles through Snowdonia .

STIL love Snowdonia for biking and running i try to get up there at least once a year

Max - are you sure Little Woody is ready for Flowerpower and her naked transitions!

My bruv seems to have also found a good excuse to stay away - never mind, more beer for me

It's been a fantastic sporting spectacle today and this evening. It's no coincidence our country starts with Great. Superb everyone.

I've not done a great deal for a couple of weeks, I've had a chest infection, been out on the bike a bit, 25 to 30 miles at a time. Out again in the morning, gonna do the loop on the Bolton Ironman course with Razor.

Working from sunny Abersoch today, having ridden over here at the weekend. Glorious 97 miles through the hills past Bala. Averaged 16.7mph and really enjoyed it. Punctured just as I arrived and feel a little guilty not to have fixed it and ridden on. Still - fairly race-specific 5:45 in the saddle and I finished fresh as a daisy with no hamstring aggro, so all good.

Bit of sea swimming and a couple of runs yesterday and today. After 6 miles of steep hills in the sun yesterday, I reckon I'll focus a couple of weeks on hill running. Another 100+ hill miles later this week. Feels good!
