Did someone say hills? I might not be able to make it that weekend with stuff on but I'd be up for it. Might be able to drag sarah along as well for part of it. She's getting better but still early days on a bike.

Let's see if we can sort some dates out that suit. I'll check with Horse when he's off.

I can basically do any weekend except not the bank holiday weekend, not 22/23rd Sept and not Sunday 18th Aug.

It would be great to get together for a nice hilly ride!!

OK, Lets see who's available on what dates,

Razor ...!8th/19th
Horse....!8th/19th
SA........18th/19th
B/Burn..18th

Can we have alternate dates

30 mins turbo followed by 6 mile run, last night and I actually felt good and like I might be making an improvement,

Mrs SA said I looked dead fresh when I finished!

Or she might have just said I looked dead

Sounds good to me.

Razor did you have anywhere in mind?

Wish I could make it over, but already have commitment on the 18th.

On the training front, just back from a 3hr bike + 1hr run brick. Gorgeous day but hard work in the heat.

There's some talk of open water tonight too! Best get a little rest before that or I'll sink!

The kids are are was with grandparents and we are having hot training dates this week.  I did mention the cinema but maybe next year.

Our kids are with grandparents next week. We've already planned OW swimming, brick session and a long bike ride. How times have changed, not that long ago we would have been in the pub every night!!!! We too now have training dates !!

BB....Was thinking of starting from my house but that would meen you driving over to me in Swinton, if we decide on a route over your way we could meet you nearer your end.

I'm happy to drive over to you, if that suits everybody else. Would be good to ride a different route.

Will let you know, it could be the route over Darwin, Blackburn, Accrinton, Haslingden, Bury and back home , will have a word with Horse he knows the route better than me.

Well swimming was sh1te last night, did 1 lap as fast as poss (see the swim Challenge thread) then another, then took wet suit off as to hot, 2 more laps done, had enough got out went home.

Had the "What the feck am I doing?" moment tonight

The OW venue was rammed full of people, now is it just me, I don't like the pool, too many people just messing about, breaststroke mafia (yes I know I take Jordy to the pool for a mess about), but when we go open water usually there's a sense that everyone wants to swim, last night it was full of people paddling FFS.

Am I turning into a grumpy old man?
