Just a turbo before work today.

Max - I'm worried about the Collosus with you and your bruv. i think you're a bit further ahead with your training than me .....decisions decisions. the furthest I've gone recently is 66 miles

50 miles for me today .. less windy but still quite cold

Not a particulartly impressive pace but I am still on my winter hack so hopefully the PX will give me some extra !

Run and swim tomorrow and thats the end of my weekend

Slim i wouldnt worry about my training or lack of probably the farthest i have rode is 50-60 miles, but i was getting consistent mid range bikes in during thexweek, the as usual hadnt really got going with the odd pool session but i will get the Open wster stuff going soon, until the crash the run was going very well but havent run properly in weeks i am hoping to get this injury settled properly then a last minute intense 10 to 15 week program and let residual fitness and experience do the rest . Funny i am up typing this at 3am cos my hip was aching i have a feeling its gonna be a long day

All those much needed long rides will take care of themselves as the daylight hours open up, won't they guys? So getting in plenty of moderate length rides now is cool prep for spring. I bloody hope so anyway. I'm doing Wales, so not in quite so much of a rush, but I've not done any longer than 45 miles yet this year .

Not a fan of Conferences at the best of times, OC.... but I guess you're getting to squeaky bum time in the run up to Lanza now. All those greasy buffets, late nights in the bar, positioning yourself for a promotion/newjob/sack avoidance.... and the friendly suggestion from the keen girl with the MBA that "we all meet early before breakfast to work on our presentation"? Not what you want.

How soon before you can start OW swims down your way, Max? Or are they a year-round thing?

I'm another slacker on the bike, haven't done more that about 30 miles since IMW.  Like STIL though, I'm waiting for the longer days .. not long now

Glad to see I'm not the only one who hasn't exactly been caning the bike

I've done the grand total of about 60 miles on the bike this year so far. I have at least had my 3 longest runs and my longest swim ever though.

Easy 3 mile recovery run last night and a spin on the turbo tonight.

I did tons of cycling last year, but this year I've got VLM in April and it's really cocked my training up!  I did very little running last year due to various injuries but so far this year (fingers/toes crossed) I'm ok.  I don't much fancy a long cycle on a weekend after a 16 mile run!

I have just entered for Sunday.  Very scared as have never done a Sportive before or a ride more than 60 miles for that matter.

Will you have pirate kit on? I would like to hook up with some friendly faces.

I am the same with the marathon training meaning a bit of a lack of bike training... except I havent really been run training either!!

Longest runs are 1 x 15 mile and about 4 x 11 miles.... and VLM is only 6 weeks away!!! I have normally ran about 3 x 18 mile runs now and would thinking about getting in  3 x 20+ mile runs over the next 3 weeks!

Windy and very wet 60 mile ride done.   But have to confess to stopping off for a sausage sarnie and coffee half way round

better get in the pool for the first time in months soon!

Turbo and a run at silly o'clock for me today.

Pingu, I almost text you yesterday to see if you fancied a bike ride soon. Let me know if you're up for it.

I really need to start getting some long bike miles in. Lets hope for some nice weather for the next few weekends. I'm *so* over the drowned rat look!
