I guess its in for a penny, in for a pound and if you do a tougher one you have even more reason to be pleased with any result.
KK I dont think I could do it with young children. If you can then so can I as I dont have that excuse!!
applicable to anyone!
at least I didnt use the old hurricane excuse
and equally you can be fit and very well trained and not finish, or you can be undertrained and finish.
Oh good, I'm doing one soon where the hurricane excuse will be valid aren't I?
lol! Isn't that november though? I don't know.
I could ask one of our pirate yanks, but KK has disappeared - I wonder if he's fallen down a drain?
he was on FB the other day so he is around
FaceBook that is
heard of a guy who works with my husband, he's selling a £1000 giant ocr for £500 with lots of extras thrown in....
it's a medium frame, but no idea what's suitable for me...... how will I know if it's the right size if I try it?
I meant KK the american pirate!
loll Melds! I see it's KKs birthday today too, so maybe he'll post later in a drunken state - I can ask him about hurricane's then.
oh is it?? then he probably is in a drunken heap somewhere after half a shandy
KKat ... get to a bike shop, get fitted for a bike and make note of the sizes then you can judge better what you need
How tall are you ?
I really think you need to have someone that knows what they are talking about look at you sitting on the bike, some bits can be swopped easily enough but if the frame is too big then it's a waste of money however cheap.
Also if you look second hand avoid any frames with dents in them - you sometimes see stuff on ebay or whatever with a big dent and with an aluminium frame stuff like that is scrap.
apparently this guy really looks after his bikes...
I'm a bit nervous though because I can't afford the wrong bike... if you know what I mean!
ok popsider......
As soon as this plaster comes off I'll start looking at the bike shops.....
