looks like he has just been knocked off his bike whilst undertaking a cross america challenge, hit from behind by a truck, suffered head injuries but able to talk

I agree, the guy comes across as a bit of a knob but that's not something I'd wish on anyone.  I hope he makes a full and quick recovery.

Jeez - and didn't redgrave crash out ? This race has had a couple of fatalities in its history.
