Paulo -when is it? Normal IM distance? Most of us are already entered in IM races for this year.

Yes......... ( 1.9km swim, 90km bike, and 21.1 km run )sorry about that.
Event will take palce on May 14, 2006

sorry Paulo, that isn't an Ironman distance, it's only half-Ironman.

it's what is internationally known as a middle distance race, not long distance.

Well Ironwolf...............you have plenty of time to recorver......come on down...........I am sure you will have a good time....
If you do under 4h30m..........you qualify for a free slot in 2007 and split an aditional 2.000,00 euros with under 4h30m finishers........
Also known as Lisboa "Elite sub-4.5"

sorry Paulo, no chance of that, I'm a senior vet without a hope of finishing in that sort of time. Anyway, I'm already doing London marathon, then tri races on 7, 21 and 28 May, plus 11 June and then IMDE. That's enough for an old lady like me!
