Does anyone know how many cyclists there are in each starting group? I'm either starting a 6am or 6:30am (can't remember which one) so hopefully won't be too bad

From memory Tom20 it's a hundred or so at at time, pretty much a constant flow of peeps through the holding pens towards the start line - guess herding cyclists isnt an exact science. Get there as early as you can, as m'learned colleagues have said it degenerates into chaos and collissions fairly quickly.

yeah i think most peeps ask for early times because of the crush - i'd forget about doing a particular time withthat sort of start
