Mens Tri - Tuesday 7th August 1130am

Wonderful result! Just can't help thinking it was a shame so many left the stands before the delayed medal ceremony, Jonny needing medical attention after the finish (many of us have been through that,eh?). Why didn't the organisers allow some of the standing spectators in to take the empty spaces?

It was, but everyone wants to take up dressage now.  We're a fickle lot, you know.

Halfords will be stocking horses next week, mark my words.

What a brilliant day!  Great to see the Brownlees in action, good to meet up with people again and a lots of beer afterwards too. Perfect day out. Watching the medal ceremony in the pub with everyone signing the National Anthem was superb.

Meldy wanted to buy a Harrods picnic instead of going to the pub. Maybe she just wanted to check out the horses!

I just heard in an interview with Alistair Brownlee that he ran the Tri 10K 1:20 slower than Mo Farah's winning 10K time!

Amazing given it was post swim/bike and what could be described as an offroad run, no athletic track bounce etc.  Would so love to see him head to head with Mo on the track.

Mo would kick his arse. Much like Ali would kick Mo's arse in a tri  Stick to what you're good at I say

You would soon discover that tracks are accurate and tri courses are not

Amazing performance from both of them.  To have a penalty and come out where he left is incredible.  We have some TV screens in the office and I managed to get most of the few people who were  there watching and cheering along with me  

Having a triathlete as an expert commentator was brilliant too, for once some useful and insightful comments.

Great day out yesterday only sorry I couldn't stay for beer o'clock due to being with other friends..... Mind you looks like there are going to be some sore heads today

Didn't realise you guys would be out that late... great effort! Had a great day, great spectating, great fun... pity I had to run off after just one beer but at least it was to go and watch the Athletics over at the stadium

I finally closed the front door at 2.10am - feeling a little fragile this morning!

Blimey you really did have a session!  I was struggling after just 2 pints, so obviously need to train more.
