Spans - well done ! I lay awake at night dreaming about a sub 20 5k, never mind after the dip and ride beforehand.

Coming to Brighton this Saturday ?

tempting Kanga but without a wetsuit and as I am already doing the Nike 10k will just have to say no!!!

under 20' in 5k is my target this year (on a 5k run)

good thing is, you still have room for improvement (bike) so as Daz says, top 3 overall or even better.

spans, pressure is on you to go top3 now :O)
dont let us down

you will just have to wait until next year now... after a winter of training on a new(?) bike...!!

Well done Spans. I would have thought you were an old hand at tris with your background, what finally made you try one?

See you at the Nike 10k.

BB - just wanted something different to train for and do after the marathon training earlier in the year. Have really enjoyed the training and the race went well, so yes I will be doing another one...

As to why next year... you find me an event where I'm not already running or busy this year and I might do it!!

Spans - a super result, well done! Now you're no longer a 'newbie', I guess we can look forward to lots more race reports from you.
I can't run a 5km in under 20 mins now and never could.
