Ooh!!
Ah, dates aren't much good for Outlaw training!!
<span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="color: #000000;">I know but hopefully good for a laugh. Fancy it chuck trying to talk Sarah into putting on a wetsuit again after the illness last year so if you want to play she might cave in.
Definitely fancy the 2 events after outlaw, I think the 1 before might be a bit too close!
I was thinking of the one on the Thursday before the Outlaw. Chances are I will already be up that way, and have my wetsuit with me as well.... tempting!
I'm thinking the one before outlaw could be good but rushing the last few weeks off training so tapering would be as big an issue for me. The one after outlaw might work well for an excuse to have a few jars? *flutter's eyelids*
Just over the hill from 'home' for me as well so may head back sometime and make the most of it. LS where do you live?
Just writing anything down in case folks are still interested. Might not be able to make thursday now but hopefully will be there.

Only just seen your reply!! Oops! I think I mentioned it in another thread, I live in Alfreton!
I think that confirms it, turbo & majority of packing tonight, baking my banana loaf, OW swim (if I get time as my swimming should be OK) & remainder of packing tomorrow evening!!
Ah I am not back ooop norf until Friday now.... forgot all about this. Could be tempted for one of the others if i am that way one weekend
Just in case it was brilliant last night and well worth a trip if anyone if thinking traveling to there is to far from place's like manc or leeds. River was very fast and swollen with the recent rain so was hard going.
Only thing to mention is that it's hard to find if you don't know where you are looking so look for the mining museum and it's behind it.
Didn't push it with outlaw around the corner and fineshed last for the 500 race and chickened out of the 1500m race like I siad the river was very fast last night.
I had hoped to make it over, but I didn't have time!!
Chuck it's well cool.
You gonna be doing the next two cake?
Hopefully you would love it was like that scottish river we where in ages back.
Went last night and it was mental even harder than the previous month with all the rain that's come down in the last few day's. Had some time to think on it and was the hardest open water I've ever done. Hopefully with the alleged good weather on the way won't be as strong a current next month but ever way i can't recommend this race highly enough if anyone else wants to play.
