As you may have seen on the news we have a water shortage in Essex so we have no lakes to swim in.

Hope the biting insects and weeds are a little less prevailant this year compared to last!

In the Blue, I lied to you about the sea temperature being 10°C at the weekend.  It was actually only 8°C as measured by someone else who went in at the same spot earlier in the day.

Rivers are warming up already. 11°C yesterday in the Hamble.

No wonder I tought it was cold.  I'm taking my dive computer next time to know for sure, it measures water temp  Lake swimming starts for me next Sunday,
