As you may have seen on the news we have a water shortage in Essex so we have no lakes to swim in.

Yep - we asked them at the Triathlon Show......

I have neoprene gloves and a hat - what could possibly go wrong?

Passed Thorpe today on way to work. Can you say "Sod that" just by looking at it?

Anyone going to go be swimming at Copthorne this year?

Hope the biting insects and weeds are a little less prevailant this year compared to last!

Did I say wait until after Easter?   Took others advice and went in the sea (sans wetsuit), still a bit nippy in there but just makes you swim harder!

*Waves*

In the Blue, I lied to you about the sea temperature being 10°C at the weekend.  It was actually only 8°C as measured by someone else who went in at the same spot earlier in the day.

Rivers are warming up already. 11°C yesterday in the Hamble.
