Just out of interest, what does everyone envisage themselves completing this event in, and also what was the range last year?

200 mile trip with the caravan tomorow! Wish me luck.  Handing the offspring to the in-laws on arrival for the weekend.  Bonus

Ozzy ... i'm doing it on the Sunday, so ... yeah, finishing it before it goes dark would be good

SA/Mrs SA/Anyone else

Some questions from a tri virgin...

Do I need to bring boxes/bags for each transition?
Should I swim in my tri top - i'm thinking not?
Should I swim in my normal Jammers or my new tri shorts which I havent used yet at all - pool or bike or run. but then I think the pro's must use new kit all the time

Thats it for now...Im sure there will be more before saturday
Cheers

You will be given a small bag, this is for your stuff that you need at the pool, after your swim place things in this bag and it will be taken to the finish for you.

I suggest a small bag for T2 would be fine, but all I need is a change of shoes and a hat/visor

Swim in you tri top, the dance you have to do to get a tri top on when you are wet is You've been framed material

New tri shorts all the way

You suddenly got speedy then?

Guys, sorry, but can you squeeze another in at the pub for Friday?

BTW for those staying at the Premier Inn they are apparently overbooked by at least 2 rooms tomorrow night, so will be assigning them on a first come first served basis. If you're (hoping to be) staying there you might want to get there early.

Anyone not getting a room call me

We can put you up or know others who can

Chances are that they will move you to the other Premier Inn which is only 4 miles away
