Pirate Kit Order?

are there enough of us for an order?

A few people, myself included, have been asking when the next Pirate kit order is likely to be, and I have also read that some pirates were looking to re order before IM Florida.

I realise from reading previous threads on this subject that we need to have a minimum order, and I also realise that it can be a bit of a pain to organise, but seeing as I am bringing up the subject I am willing to help organise.

I know Iron Lindi did the last order, so I suppose what I am asking is is there any intention of doing anything in the near future, or is one order a year in november the rule?

I'd like to be a pirate but I havent competed in my first tri yet which is June 10th, so not sure if I am eligable? But if I am I would buy some attractive yellow lycra....

The isnt a rule for one order a year, just seems to be done when there is enough interest.

Im guessing there may be demand for kit in time for Big Woody which is 1/9/07 but for the delivery to arrive in time it needs to be placed about 10 weeks in advance.

Minimum order is 16 items of any unit e.g. 16 shorts or 16 monaco's or 16 skin suits irrespective of sizes.

Best start a list and see how much interest there is by end of May.

flyway, just add your name to the list and preferred size.

Sizing does come up very small so order at least 1 size bigger than you think.

Dare i ask...(and this is a reflection of my current Tri-virgin status).... WTF is a Monaco?

It's just the boys top. It's got a zip down the front. Barley's wearing one in his avatar.

i think lindi mentioned ordering from elsewhere next time. Louis Gareau takes ages. Wasn't too impressed with the quality of the recent batch either - skull n Crossbones was wonky on the tops we got.

I prefer the skin to the monaco. My monaco rides up and my tum sticks out. The shorts on the skin are somewhat camp too but at least you can put run shorts over if you're just running.

Ahh, Well Im no expert on tri kit, but I can do some research and see if I can find another source that does custom kit?

Unless of course someone a little more expert already has a plan?

I think Lindi had an idea for where to go to for the next lot of kit.

The shorts are pretty short so can we have some a bit longer next time, please?
