I believe lady pirate had a zippy up the front top (or possibly not)
Yes, that would be Trogs.

Mr Pirate had light blondish/brown hair. . . I think.
Yes, that would be HC

Ali, I finished in exactly the same time as last year to the second, 2:35:56.  Going for the hat trick next year.

Nice meeting Joddly and Monique and another pirate (I'm sorry, I've forgotten your name!) today. Big toe very sore now... :/

JP - that looks like me, Ditchy (in the black and white vest, whit cap) and just to her right you can just about see Debbo in the yellow and black with a white cap on.....

oooh yes that's us! If only I wasn't too lardy for my pirate tank - the pic would have looked waaaay better then with three blackandyellas in a row

Oi CD I'm ginger and proud! and actually <sadly> I do get mistaken for being a bloke quite a lot.

Pirate spotted on the VLM coverage, coming down the Mall in the background waving his arms manically as Sue Barker gave a very solemn piece to camera about a BBC sports producer who died recently.  Top piratey timing!

And to the female pirate in the champs start area (I guess kk or monique), I was just coming over to introduce myself and spotted a bloke I hadn't seen for years standing right by you.  By the time I finished speaking to him you'd wandered off somewhere.

Could have been me as I was wearing pirate hoody.

That's it, pirate hoody and hair that I suspect isn't your natural colour

How did you get on?

How very dare you!

My slowest time ever, but I was expecting it. 3.20. Had a good day and even managed to enjoy the last 10k, by this time I had re-adjusted my finishing time so wasn't overly concerned about the clock.

How about you? Good I hope?

JP - if Ditchy had been in pirate kit, and I wasn't so short, that would have been a good 'three pirate photo'

It was a good day thanks Mon, exactly the same time as last year - 2:35:56 - but 9 places higher so 100th overall.  I doubt I enjoyed the last 10k as much as you did though!

Nothin to apologise for Debbo.  I can come off the testosterone tablets now at least

Hey Happychap - i'm with you on the gingerness. The future's bright, the future's ginger!

I'm now on the lookout for Pirates in the Northwest. I'll be out and about in my pirate gear!

I still can't get the pirate logo to appear on my login next to my name - how do you do it, pirates???

I'm spending too much time training to know what's going on, I shall rectify that ASAP!
