Note - I have resisted tidying up the list into alphabetical order

just thinking about design again.  might be difficult to design by committe but would you guys prefer a see through bottle?  could piratise this.  not whether it's feasible or not as i think a minimum of 500 bottles will need to be ordered to get the yellow cap.

Yellow cap would be nice, or how about a yellow bottle with black skull & bones on and a black cap

reasoning behind see through bottle is easy to see how much liquid you've got left, see if your powder's mixed plus less garish.  but i guess we should be loud and proud so ignore the garish bit.

solid yellow would be something like this

I prefer the solid yellow and surely that's what makes it a pirate bottle.  I can see why transparent would be better in terms of seeing contents etc, but surely it gotta be the yellow

Bottle count is 64 at the mo'

okey dokey, getting a couple of samples sent to me.  leadtime is 4-5 weeks once artwork is confirmed.  if the bottles look solid and work well i reckon we can go with them.  designs to be confirmed but basically there's not alot of choice given there's no words on pirate kit, the bottles be yellow and will have skulls on it.  so shouldn't take too long to work out the designs!

paypal shopping cart looks pish easy to setup, they take a cut but it'll make things easy.  so, with the costs of 150 bottles and artwork setup plus paypal fees we're currently looking at around £2.85 per bottle plus postage.  i was hoping to nip out to the post office to check postage today but i've not had time.  will probably do that tomorrow if i get snowed in!

This appears to give a rough RGB value of R=247 G=217 B=23 (HTML f7db17)

The picture I originally posted above had a slightly different yellow (a bit brighter). I've now corrected the linked image to the above values.

Note: It is likely that other sources will give slightly different conversions of the pantone to RGB values.

e.g. The Pantone web site sample for 108C gives is shown with an RGB values of: R=252 R=217 B=0 (HTML FCD900)

If we go with black skulls on yellow bottles, then the yellow will presumably not be our Pantone anyway - it will be whatever yellow the bottles are maufactured on, not sure if that matters.

I think yellow skulls on black looks pretty cool though, and can then be in the correct Pantone.

I think the above shows best keep it simple, and six along the top looks better than 8.

Note the black border around the skull  on the yellow bottle will not print - it's just part of their template showing the printable area.
