there's also a rear photo shot of Ms Swallow and the middle part of her name is aptly disappearing into the crack of her arse!!

yeh - he was originally DQ'd for that (rulebook now says you can't have more than 10cm of flesh between the top of the bottoms and bottom of the top) as it's "illegal equipment" but he seems to have won an appeal I guess.   he should have been DQ'd on "fashion from the 90's" grounds....

I caught him up when he was in deep discussion with the motorcycle referee. Staying too far back to draft, I didn't catch anything of the conversation but put 2 and 2 together when I saw the DQ. I was annoyed because I couldn't safely overtake and they were there for 2-3 minutes. Last thing I wanted was pinging for drafting the referee, but not a lot I could do in the circumstances!

Talking of rules, I still like the fact that Jodie Swallow once had to change her kit as her breasts made the sponsors logo to big.

Ok, that's funny!

I saw countless blokes stopped for a pee at the side of the road ... cant really have been neccessary when there are loos at every aid station?

The Funkins took a picture of the penalty listing.  There was (originally) also a DQ for insufficient clothing, but I did read (on one of the Outlaw related threads) that this had been reclassified to a time penalty

Edit: x-post with DD

Here's the penalty sheets as of Monday morning (hover over the image and you'll see a magnifying glass where you can see the details)....

Is it wrong of me to shake my head in dissapointment when I see that competitor number 533 was DQ'd for Dangerous Cycling; and then note he's a member of Gloucester Police Tri Club?

Hi, I know this is the Outlaw thread but any pirates going to Ironman UK on Sunday. Just had a sudden desire to pop up there (not too far ) to get a feel for an Ironman and support anyone competing?

Rio there are a few playing this weekend if you look at the this thread will give you an idea. http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/forum/triathlon/uk-ironman-anyone/187498.html

A lot of the folks will already be in the zone and there so you might not get a big responce on here. I'd go and see what you can see.
