Can we have a supporters bit and can i be in it

I did the bike course today - well bits of it on the way back from elsewhere. There's a pub called The Crown in a village called Pishill (yep that's what its called!!) which would make a perfect viewing area for the bike course - excellent garden right by the road, good food and lots of beers!

Depends on how my recovery continues. Not allowed back on my bike until August and no running training until December.

Just in case anyone was watching the fantastic thing on BBC1 last night about the double scull's with matt smith in it and didn't make the connection. I think I'm right and saying where they where rowing is where the tri is.

I watched some rowing at Henley years ago. Actually that is a lie, I drank Pimms and didn't see any rowing.

Did see some ridiucllous picninc action. Live lobsters in a tank in the back of a Range Rover was a sight  I will never forget.

Will be at henley in 2013 in some capacity

If we're allowed to be half-arsed can I come and play?

At the moment Henley dosent seem to have fired the level of interest as a pirate gathering as this years Outlaw did

max it's early day's and a lot of people have ironman wales coming up. Just you wait sure there will be a few of the usual suspects turning up once they start thinking about next year. MrsD you can come and play anyway half arsed or not.

Was tempted to come along for this as a gentle outing after IMCH, but at £340 I might decide to come and support!!

31/07/2012 at 13:18

to be honest, it might be cheaper for me to do than dam thing than support as I'm sure my bar bill at Outlaw was more than that
