Perfect weather today for Maxdorf.

Normann Stadler, Hawaii IM winner 2004, started again today in Maxdorf, saying he wasn't intending to go all out because of Frankfurt IM in 4 weeks, but however he would like to break his previous time.

Norm exited the swim only in 5th place, but by the time he reached the foot of the big climb the first time round, already had a 5-min lead!
Finished in 3 hrs 40mins, breaking his previous record by a whole 8 minutes!

Watch out world. Obviously our local boy is in super form again this year.

Mr. IW had a good day too, finishing in 5hrs 40 for 2nd place in M55.

Foggyone had a great debut race for his first ever triathlon.

Splits later once the results are up on the website.

Normann will be a hard man to beat in Frankfurt if he is in that sort of form.

Sh*****t that is a serious time! Not many have done sub 4 at all, those who have are top world class (Leder etc.)
