Yes - I enjoyed being hoisted out of the river by two fits blokes when I did Ironbridge - that and butt watching as they stood up going up the hill

I've managed 3 swims so far, Sunday I did 1000m of drills, Monday evening went to tri club trg sesh, and yesterday did 2km straight swim - all of them with pull bouy and using arms only. Doing core/weight training too. Hope I can get on the exercise bike in a few days so I don't lose too much on the cycling front. I don't think I'll be able to run very much of the mara, so right now planning on speed walking as much as possible.

IW, you will be on the start line on the 24th, and you WILL finish. Your attitude is great, the enforced taper will see at the start line fresh and raring to go!!!
