missed todays pool session, so i'll have to do a 400m TT in OW tomorrow, this weeks gonna be a slow one

Its going to be tough improving my 7.09 but this is just the motivation I need.

May not improve every month but if I can improve most months im going to be swimming sub 7.00 400m for the first time ever

6.20 for me last night. Think I have plateaued. Like Barlos said, I may leave it a month beforfe doing the TT again.

In the meantime lots of intervals and technique stuff for me. I say lots but I am only swimming once a week at the minute.

Been a bit shoddy with this (despite swimming more 400's than usual lately). I did a 7:50 and then a 7:37 last week. Is logging it here OK?

I'll shave-down this week and change-up from boardies to speedos. That should see me comfortably better than Muffin's 6:20. That said, I only want to get quick enough to chase-down Barlos on the bike leg at Tenby .

STIL,

I hope youll have trouble chasing me down on the bike leg, not that youll have a bad ride but that ill do a darn site better than last year.  I packed in at 70 miles having take nearly 7 hours.

That said though the course was tough, something wasnt right with me, I had nothing in the tank even from the start.

I will say treat the course with the respect it deserves and save some thing for the two loops of Saundersfoot (as if you dont know that hills going to be tough last time round).

Not scared, I just think im going to improve more than you and our standards will nearly merge.  That will of course mean ive made up more than a minute gap, translate that to Lanza and I think youll be out the water a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong way behind me.

Its also worth remembering you cant walk Lanza swim as the seabed drops a few dozen meters when you get out a bit
