Gastank.. i tried booking camping a week or so back and was told by the campsite that no need to book (only for the plots with power and they had all looooong gone) .. and that competitors can just rock up on the day  ( well day or two before) and it would be fine.

My mum is getting so excited at the prospect of helping out bless her.  I mentioned the transition tent and someone mentioning on another thread that it is rather cramped and lots of bare bums and bollocks.......she only wanted to know if she could help out in there!!!!   She is a worry.

No doubt who you take after then Saffers.

haha....oooh no doubt whatsoever.....I am actually planning a longer than average transition myself.   I may take sometime.

Due to being crocked and being unable to take part can someone stick me on the feedstation list, will there be transport to get to and from there because i'd like to support at the run /finish.

Shas... you've got a damaged arm, I've got a gammy leg so I aint walking anywhere too far.

when i helped out in 2010, I got stuck on my own for about two hours with no-one around me waiting to be told I could leave.  Luckily I had a book, but i have to admit i'm not keen to do that again!  All the supporters had fecked off too, so was pretty dull.  Schmunks do you know if we have to marshall other bits too? If we do, it would be good to do it in pairs at least to have some company.

LtP - Yes, we may well have to marshall other bits too but last year it was done in 2's or 3's

Ltp, in 2010 we didnt have a large number of supporters so had to sent individuals out and only swapped them once, last year we had people in pairs and swapped them twice. 

Also in 2010 we were kept at our positions for an hour longer than necessary as the organisers were missing a cyclist who it later was found out had been mixed up with a no participant or had chosen to stop?

Schmunkee is coordinating this year so expect everything to run like clockwork
