You're my Landlady

Rent is 20 boxes of Thortons per night

Tbh if I wasn't skint i'd be going to a hotel.  Just keeping fingers crossed it is at least dry when I put up the tent, after that, it doesn't matter so much.  Well, other than being shite, but at least we'll have somewhere dry to hide

400m is brilliant  Short enough to run and get the beers out of the coolbox straight after finishing and getting back to the finish line!!

About 400 metres from camping to transition, (closer than the event car park to transition!)  close enough to forget plenty of stuff and have 3 mad dashes back to your tent.

while we're on this point - GB, thanks for hanging around in transition last year at IMW while i had to do a mad dash back for my wetsuit

GB - if you can run from the finish line to your coolbox you clearly won't have tried hard enough on the run

I hope the Thornton's of which you speak aren't those cheap boxes you can get in supermarkets

continental for me thanks

Is it appropriate to squirt  the remnants of my water bottle over Muckee's white T shirt as I pass the feed station?!!    Of course it would have to be the second 'drive by' or I may not be given anything for the last few miles!!!

Just dropped in and Siggy, "Oooh Matron!" I'm not old enough for this kind of talk.

26/06/2012 at 09:14

Oh yes you are Dusty 'Old boy'!!  Incidentally, are you staying for the Monday meet up at the pub?  If I finish, I may owe you a pint or three!!

26/06/2012 at 09:36

Siggy - less of the "if".  You will finish.    Can't let an old man beat you can you?
