oh I don't know - the old stick in the spokes trick, would just be like the card in the spoke thing we did when we were kids to make it sound like a motorbike - reckon you would race the bike course!

But you got to be careful - fecking with the Fairy's lists!! We could end up with pink kit or sumfink!

Pink not scaring me BUT M...eldy does... Might have set a secure perimeter around tent and keep Thorntons and Guinness handy to distract 'em

I wonder what does happen when you feed Melds fizzy ribena, going to get some of that for the feed station too.

P.S. Good luck for the ride tomorrow M...eldy in case I forget, sorry we won't be there to feed you a Guinness or two!

Just because I may not be posting, does not mean I am not lurking. Just because you cannot *see* me it doesn't mean I can't *hear* you.

And yes, keep going at this rate and a couple of volunteers could be starring in a new film called 'Lost In Nottingham'.

Spidey senses....

I'm off for a two hour "run" , lost in Nottingham is a very real possibility I expect to be lost in Winchmore Hill in about 20mins...

Note - it's not so much that I need to do a two hour run today but more the case of long it will take me to find my way home

So I'm back from my marafun training, and managed 15 miles in 2hrs 28mins and yes I got lost hence the extra time and miles...

ANYWAY

I was thinking while on my run..... what role will I be playing in the forthcoming blockbuster "Lost in Nottingham", what genre? What RafikiD's role? Who's in line for leading ladies, when do we begin casting? How much are we getting paid? Personally I think two volunteers getting lost in Nottingham sounds a little week, unless it's in Sherwood forest and it's all a bit Blair Witch or Dog Soldiers?

Just a quick update...

I have heard from OSB regarding the support station. Although I haven't seen the route I have been told there will be four support stations; two on each loop. On one loop, the cyclists will come past once, on the other they will come through twice.

I am going to suggest we have a support station that is passed twice but will clear first so that we can get back to HPP as soon as poss to watch everyone out on the run ASAP

Wont be able to make the feed station this year? Just started training to be a Personal Trainer and the workshop is on the same weekend. Will be coming up after to support at the end of the race and attend the next day party.....

Alright being a newbie in these parts & seeing as there is now absolutely no chance of me taking part or having a conflicting event, how does this all work with the volunteering thing & camping thing & movie acting thing etc?? I could be convinced to sign up!

Hang on a minute; I just saw on the last page that I've already been added me to the list, and all while I was lying in a hospital bed with a flat lung & broken shoulder unable to defend myself! Mr Gas & Mr Rafiki, you two boys some explaining to do (as I know the little list lady would never have done such a thing without your influences )!! *taps foot while waiting*

caz - oh good, pleased to hear I won't be the only one walking around looking lost & wondering what on earth is going on! Does one need to provide one's own camping equipment?
