The 2012 Pirate Kit Order Thread

My name was not on the list.

I got my kit and I'm all a yellow and black and excited. Thanks to her Royal Highness.

Now I've gone and entered Cotswold 113 (June 16).

In fact, I might wear it at the marathon next weekend as a trial outing.

All kit received thanks Schmunks, now to loose the few extra pounds so it fits without looking like i'm squeezing into it.

My stuff came yesterday.  Many thanks

went and picked up a parcel from the post office and it was my kit

it is lovely, thanks schmunks!! I can fit into it now so I don't have to wait to lose weight

do I have to cycle in the cold now?? how warm is the cycling jacket? how many layers do you put underneath? I don't want to be cold, but don't want to overheat either

love the quality of the material, it feels lovely

I went out yesterday in a cycle jersey, the jacket and a very thin waterproof and was pretty toasty

thanks matt, guess the best thing is to have a ride where I go past my house after abut 30 minutes, then if I am too hot/cold I can always stop and put on/take off clothes

ok, well, have to just give it a go and see what works for me.

I've only ever worn a base layer under the jacket, unless it was really cold (-6 once), then I wore everything I owned.
