Hm. I Tried Twitter when I first saw this thread and I don't get it. I feel very technologically backward these days

How did I know you were going to say that? Go to the pacesetters website, sign up for their newsletter and you'll be one of the first few thousand to know.

Someone will invariably post on here as soon as entries go on sale. Vit sold out in about 1.5 days last year so you need to be quick but it's not a matter of hours. Last year on Twitter Pacesetters also resold all the places of people that had withdrawn so your chances of getting a place are good!

Now on the "enter events" tab but showing as closed, can only be a matter of days unti, it opens!  Looks like one lucky sole has managed to enter if you click on confirmed entries.

 At least we have 10 months to pay it off!  Just £10 a month will do it.  Hope it is worth it!

last year there was places available in the month before the race - loads of people pull out - not saying that it will be the same this year though. i didnt enter until 6 weeks before the event last year.

Doh!  I was thinking it was a half IM not an Oly.

I agree with FB, an Oly should be fine as you would undoubetdly be doing more than 2 1/2 or so hours anyhow.

The Vit. is a half isn't it......?
