Message on Pacesetter website today says:

We will make announcements through Twitter and our Paceletter newsletter sometime in the next day or so.

Apparently sold out in 33 hours last year. So if the first to see that entry has opened would be so kind as to put it up here it would be much appreciated.

Will (hopefully) be my first attempt at this race.

Saturday 8 September.

Apaprently they will announce opening of registration through their Twitter feed, but I am not a Twitter user (not interesting enough to have that much to say about myself!)

Update from Pacesetter:

Pace Setter Events are pleased to confirm we have now updated the website for the forthcoming 2012 season and are accepting online and postal entries for the Dambuster Duathlon and the Dambuster Triathlon.

Entries for the Vitruvian Triathlon are currently restricted to Credit Note Postal applications from athletes who have current valid credit notes from 2011 and ActionAid Charity Entries which will be made available to the first 25 applicants (for details of charity entries please see info below).

Normal online and postal entries for the Vitruvian will be opening in the next couple of weeks and will be advertised in the next Paceletter and on Twitter.

Its virtually on my doorstep and i love biking round that area.

you have 5 weeks between JCD - no sweat. build Dambuster into the training schedule and use it as a good test of transition and nutrition.

Just 2 weeks as Outlaw brought forward in 2012. Very close - I would be tapering myself.

is it 2 weeks? must have looked at this year's date!

still doable - use it as the last heavy training session- it's only (approx) a 1/4 IM. it's a good test as to how training has gone but under race conditions
