4 starts, 4 World Championship crowns! What an athlete, what a fighter Chrissie is! It was much tighter than usual but still almost 3 mins ahead of Carfrae. Well done to her, and 3rd placed Leanda Cave.

When I went to bed I didn't think Chrissie could do it as the gaps were so big. So pleased for her after the disappointment of last year. What a woman! Did you see the ohotos of the road rash on her blog - ouch, nasty and she still dug deep and won.

I find it amazing that Chrissie is still out there at the finish line on the 16 hour mark offering support, congratulations, hugging, smiling, and generally being a generous and warm person.

I am new to this, as I keep saying, but I continue to find inspiration around every corner.
