True on both counts.

I'm planning a return to Vit too past IMCH. But depends on how the dates fall.

Final results are now online at the vitruvian/pacesetter website.

Good to see that Coach Barlos is still the run winner, with a time of 32:17.  I wish I could run that fast, especially with an injured shoulder!

That's true, but judging by the number of such errors that stay in final results (not just the Vit) they only bother checking if someone complains or if it affects prizes.  Wasn't there something similar last year where some veteran lady had the fastest swim?

Just looking at the finial results, I am even more pleased with my run time now

and Meldy and Squish are in the results, despite their timing chip never being returned as it flew off in a helicopter rather than going round the run course

gom ace running there! glad youve finally got the hang of it

i think crashie said they've offered me a free place next year....i'm sure he said that but i was doped up so it might have been a dream. i don't think they've offered crashie one though... he didn't finish the course either! anyway that's very kind of them, i'll see how i feel about it, i might have to get off and push my bike on that bit of road

grrrrr and why is this feckin computer messing me arrround with the cursor jumping everywhere, it's bliddy hard enough trying to type one handed as it is.

Hiya Squishy - at least you can still drink one handed, even if you have to bite the bottle tops off

Hi guys, not had access to the interweb for a few days so not posted since the Vit.

Great to see those of you I've met before again & also to meet quite a few of you for the first time.

Glad to see that you are posting on here Squishy, hope the recovery doesn't take too long, that it doesn't affect your training for IMCH & that they catch the coach driver.

Brief Race Report:
Pre Race - not trained since Nice & campsite was very wet & muddy
Swim - Slow & weedy (actually looks like only 25 people were slower than me )
Bike - Slow & Windy
Run - Even slower & windier

Finished in 6:16 which is 10 minutes slower than last year & 30 mins slower than New Forest Middle I did in June. The only positive thing I can take away from this is that it gives me the kick up the @rse I need to start training again.

Lol NM!

Squish, my calf is encased in a compression sock and not sore anymore so that's a relief.  I really must get it to HTFU.
