VT'd, honest and poignant. Life with your partner needs the  'luck' of staying on each others wavelength. Sounds like your luck ran out.

I'd look at it the opposite way actually. You made your own choice and ended a relationship which was dragging you down and would ultimately just have made you more miserable than you could ever be as a single person. I'd say lucky escape!

Much more than I ever imagined to be honest.

Great friends, some cool kit, and being able to walk into bookshops and find my contribution to filling their shelves which in turn has given me a warm feeling as said book has influenced people to take up the sport
