I was fitted to my TT bike, but I was fitted for both TT racing and triathlon, 2 sets of measurements for one bike. Bike Science Bristol, best money I've ever spent on the bike.
If you'll have long break you can try South Brooklyn and Long Island in New York,meet other bikers too.

I'd say is worth even if spending far less on a bike. IMO you can get more benefit from riding a cheaper bike correctly as can from buying a bike £150 more expensive!
TT position really great,can save energy for this bike, but main concern of mine is how make me exhausted, the thrill of andventure, how you enjoy biking and experience other places met new bikemates.
