Dustboy - the Thames at Hampton is insanely high at the moment. The path between Hampton Court bridge and Molesey Lock (on the Molesey side) is submerged under 6 inches of water. It's normaly at least 1.5 foot lower.

Gavo, I'd recommend getting some...badoom tish.

The official hotel is normally the Copthorne but I think it's a bit of a trek to the start. Not sure about B&B's in and around Windsor.

Quick question...

Windsor suggested as "pirates-outing" with 14 names entered above. But new thread on Pirates World Tour 2007 - What tris are you doing? Has a few sprints and then nearly all IM events. No mention of Windsor - the Tri of the year as HumanRace never fail to remind us!

Are the Windsor tin-men (and women!) not worthy of inclusion?????

Only jokey question as I can hardly comment on pirate affairs as I have never raced in yellow and black. Its the hot=pant styling on the shorts!!!! I do follow the forums though, so that might count!??!!

Plus not up to an IM - Helvellyn Tri the limit so far.

However, mid distance Tri planned for 2007. Maybe the big one in 2008. Then I will have to buy some hot pants!!
