gotta agree, MMmm ..you can't beat mtbing in the winter...cold, wet, muddy...fantastic!
will have to try the night stuff one day (got given some good lights this year..not used them yet...)

nice muddy fields that build leg strength and not so bad when you fall off. ideal winter mountain biking conditions.

Hang on, so what's to stop us competing in Loch Ness on the Sat, driving down via Manchester for the evening, then push on through til dawn, driving down to Ludlow for your 6:30am (?) wave.

Or maybe we should just wait for the next Northern Social!? (And the next Wales/Western one, too!)

but am planning a 'come-back' tri at the end of sept... will be a little jog round nothing too fast. The idea will be to finish, thats all....

I don't know if it is definitely 6:30, but it will probably be early-ish. He likes waving at sun-up. He's a strange sort.
