Academy of Physical Education in Katowice, Poland, is holding a Festival of Running on 3-5 June 2011, including two ultra running events : 24hr and 48hr runs. Full details can be found at http://www.biegkukuczki.pl (English version is coming soon ). Last year 44 participants of Poland, Czech Rebublic and Byelorussia took part in the main 48-h run. The winner was a woman – 24-years old student Aleksandra Niwinska – 323 km 657 m. The best man was Grzegorz Wiese with the result 319 km 706 m.
