New trail race

How tough is this course?
I could sum it up with one sentance
"It would be nice to get to a hill!"
Cheers.
That's very kind of you.
I read your report on that race a couple of months ago. I'm in awe!
Many thanks again. I'll be taking a trip over the next week or two to see what trouble I'm in.

No probs. I found the recce last week quite tough. As strange as it sounds the race didnt seem as hilly!. Having a bad memory has its uses!
I was planning to back down around August time..but maybe I won't if its tougher than I remember
Like Henks latest email.
Slowest time within the 28 hour cut in the 100 miler will be next years cut off.
So the race is going to get harder and harder every year then !
sounds just like Henk, too many finishing just makes him angry
I was just thinking that he's mellowing with age
If mellowing means 'likes to dish it out but can't take it himself!' then yes, he is getting more and more precious!
Slowest time will be mine 27:59 Next year will be a walk in the park.
I've finally found the time to do a lap of the course tomorrow morning, well that's as long as I get up at 4:30 and drive for an hour.
I'm really looking forward to see if it's as hilly as I'm led to believe.
One lap no, but after 5 or 6 then yes
I went round this morning and many thanks to Daz for the GPX file which made it very easy to follow.
I can confirm it is hilly and stunning in the early morning sun!
I now know what I've got to do over the next 148 days.
Decided to throw myself in at the deep end and will sign up for this my first 100 miler have started runnin again this year after a two year break. Of course usual leg issues as they scream due to lack of use for 2 years but ran a 26 mile training run yesterday so all systems go!!.... love the fact the race is 10 mile loops having run 50 mile races in the past and could never master navigation... head down and keep running in a straight line was my way!
