mine makes it 48.1 but (I guess it depends on where you ran. If you take the racing line you will take a slightly shorter way. If you ran around the outside of everythig I guess it would be longer. I guess if you google mapped the rout it would be different again. For me it was far enough!

Though I forgot to press 'stop' at the finish line, my Garmin only logged about 47 miles... But there were many opportunities to cut across fields (the official footpath usually follows along the bank - approaching Shiplake boating college for instance, I reckon the 'cut across' path rids you of nigh on a quarter of a mile as the river loops quite wildly there).

Cheers Guys. My Garmin Forerunner recorded 47.66. It did lose the signal in Whitchurch woods at one point and I was a bit slow restarting it after one of the checkpoints.

Very excited about this race, its by far the furthest I will have ever run in one go. Been training hard so hopefully it'll all pay off. Good luck to all involved. See you Saturday!
