if anyone has race pictures which ideally show runners AND boats AND canal and maybe bridges
for the waterways world magazine

i have some of the prize giving to send them - no idea how much space we are getting or even of they will publish it - it's for the news section rather than an article

Brill day, great first ultra for me. Loved the course very scenic..

Not sure about the dodgy table at the CP1 ?

Feeling a little tendet today but no probs really. Good rest now and back into some serious training..ready for next year?!

Lovely to see a different side of this race from the relay point of view. And not least because of the 'stop early and eat a pub lunch' side of things....

Really enjoyed my run, and pleased with my time. It was also nice to run a bit with Mrs JW who chatted a bit about the drawing of Mr JW on the back of my 2007 vest, before zooming off and leaving me for dust. I hope the race, and the number of runners for whom it is an essential and much loved fixture each year offer some kind of comfort. It's a hell of a tribute.
