Sad news indeed - didn't know him other than chatting to him at races since the JW but he was always a cheerful chap, I saw him at a load of races following the JW, including Caesar's where he completed the 100 miles and Draycote - remember him being chuffed with a marathon PB there
How awful for his family
I concur with FB.
I only met they gent briefly last year (until we caught up with Mouse and her friend) but chatting to him and his friend passed some time very pleasurably (they were perhaps a bit too apologetic though )
Thoughts are with his family and friends.
than you brian
I remember them.
Thoughts are with the family.
just dropped of the jw cheque with the sea cadetsturns out last year they were being threatened with bayliffs and at risk of having their electricity turned off, s we must have been like the cavalry turning up with our cheque
as always they were very grateful, and it means the kids don't have to trawl round pubs collecting money as often - they can actually spend their time doing activities as they should be doingthe sea cadets receive no central funding from the navy
All right, which one of you silly buggers is sending me email pretending to be Ultra Minnie ??
I know it can't be her because of her allergy.
Well done Lurks for keeping the Sea Cadets afloat.
How dare they Muzzy!
