Luis, it was wonderful to run with you and your friends. What a brilliant day (and night!) - it was so much fun. It was so nice to see a friendly face at a race where I knew no-one. Thank you for your companionship. Will e-mail you the photos - I took so many photos the battery ran out after Cercedilla!

Did you take one from the race dinner?
Loved to see more people from abroad year after year.

A race gallery at km 9.

http://www.madrid-segovia.com with entries already open.

For third year on a row, the city-to-city ultra between Madrid and Segovia. Last year a nice 400 finishers. This edition, an entry limit of 1.000 is set.

I have the feeling this hilly ultra can be one of those classics.

Just remember how cheap and easy is to fly and stay in Madrid.

Why not giving it a go?
Slow Duck can tell you about warm welcomes

Cheers,
Luis

Yep, as Luis says, it's a very nice race - great scenery, friendly runners and helpers and a spectacular finish in Segovia. It was my first 100km race and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended!

SD recommends it, and entries open Tuesday. Give it a read at www.madrid-segovia.com

This time a new website with all info in English was designed.

First days, over 130 entries sold.

I'll try to post updates of useful information although that is the most useful of all information now: book in advance!

Lads and peeps,

Of all 1000 entries available from the start, more than 600 already sold out. Give it a try before flights become full or accomodation becomes a problem.

Really recommend it.

L.
