Bit like own brand value soup but with bigger bits you mean?

No more like one of those readymix things that never actually mix properly and leave a nasty taste in the mouth when you get to the bottom of the cup and get a gobful of unmixed powder and a lump of dried pea.
But in the end I suppose it's a meal, after all soup is soup whatever the make.

So I s'pose as it's obviously a non-event, not worth mentioning, LJS, Jo, Doug and myself needn't expect any support for our efforts then.
Oh well, as you were then. Won't bother with race reports.

But I must admit, the Danube river canal does sometimes resemble soup!

I'll move away from the spade now I was only messing. At the end of the Mervyn 140miles is 140miles in anyone's book.
(In fact after a quick bit of navel contemplation and self-analysis I think the only reason I went on about it was a reaction to it being put forward as the greatest race in the world - EVER. I haven't got a Scooby on the basis I have never participated in or even witnessed anything involving more than one discipline let alone IM Distance.)
So I wish all those participating (whatever the stripe count on their trainers) all the very best.
As you were then.

CRAB - it used to be the original IMDE but the organisers fell out with the WTC (ironman brand name folks) and decided to go it alone - very sucessfully - it is the biggest IM event and has all the whistles and bells just not the logo
