have fun JB!

BtS and I are running a horribly hilly 15k near Leek today - BtS claims it has a 2km long 1 in 10 hill for starters.

you should have come down for Quicksands then Debbo - it's salt-pan flat (mostly)!!

Can I just drop by to congratulate everybody who did this today, you wouldn't catch me doing it.The weather was a tad warm but it looked like you all did a cracking time as Tail End Charlie came past us a good bit sooner than folk were expecting.

Thanks Chestfield Bill, it was tough, but I did enjoy it, all the marshalls were very friendly too. What a nice cosy friendly finish too!

just back from this, fab race. completely over trained for it by doing lots of off road hilly runs. this was flat apart from a sand dune, steps, a long slope up from the beach and a scramble up a chalk rocky slope.

mainly on sand, oxy and tired legs this would have been brilliant for MdS training.

a lone pirate but it would be good to get a crew there another year

finished in 2.57 so well pleased
