  • Tromsø mountain ultra  25 Aug, 50 km way up north, 70 deg (new course)
  • Romerike 6-hour Sept 1st not far from the airport (simpler and flatter)

Ha ha, oh well, I think it's for the best, I should be in recovery mode really. That mountain one sounds great. I watched the Transvulcania race on TV yesterday, and it looked amazing. Not so much in the way of mountains round here.

haha, sorry I wasnt expecting you to reply before a sensible answer came back. Only joking about the run hard bit ........ I'll let loulabell or someone else reply as Im no expert on Ultras, dont see the point in them personally. Maybe Shin71 (waves to Shin71) can help.

Hi - I live in the sleepy town of Faringdon between Oxford and Swindon.  Just training for London, ran my first marathon last year and want to carry on after this one in April.  I like the idea of slowly building up the distance and being able to head out for a long run at the weekend with no goal in mind, just run!  (Does that sound a bit crap??).  Is there a shortage of girls in the Ultra world?
